Our rotor dynamics services provide the necessary analyses and solutions for the safe and efficient operation of rotating machinery (turbines, compressors, pumps, motors, etc.). With critical speed analyses, the speeds at which the rotor will enter resonance are determined in advance, and the system design is optimized to avoid these critical speeds. Especially in high-speed machines, even small imbalances can cause large vibrations and damage. In solving balance problems, the amount and location of the imbalance are determined with precise measurements, then the system is balanced with appropriate correction weights. In the design of bearing systems and support structures, optimal solutions are developed to positively affect the dynamic properties of the rotor. The dynamic properties of sliding bearings, roller bearings, and oil films are calculated to improve the stability and vibration behavior of the system. With torsional vibration analyses, torsional resonances, which are critical especially in power transmission systems, are detected and solved with torsional vibration dampers.
